Scott William Winters is an American actor best known for his role as Cyril O'Reily in the HBO prison drama series Oz. Winters was born on August 5, 1965, in New York City, New York. The name of his parents are not known, as are why he got into acting. Scott is from NYC and graduated from Northwestern University. He has appeared in over 150 episodes of critically acclaimed television, as well as Oscar winning and Golden Globe nominated films. He is currently producing a feature film with Guy Walks Into A Bar (‘Elf’, ’Sully’). In 2021, Scott founded Merciful, a non profit dedicated to work cross-culturally by empowering at risk communities both here in the States and in East Africa.
